This is something I don't normally ask because when comes to Real Estate, you either go for becoming a salesperson, which you are considered an independent worker or you work for a company in which you get paid on a regular basis. This is my second careers in which I'm switching from being a Nurse to Real Estate, which is a big change considering healthcare is what I want to focus on. Is anyone in the Real Estate business or is planning to go into the Real Estate business?

Wow that is a big change.

Real Estate goes in cycles so many starting out will get in full time while the market is hot then fall back into another type of work and wait before jumping in again. This works great if you have a husband or wife that has a steady job/income to smooth out the highs and lows.

Real estate is one of the most cut-throat occupations so make sure your skin is thick enough for it.

Having worked both in the healthcare field as well as the financial one: you're in for a huge change.

If you like healthcare, may I ask why you want to change?

I used to be interested in becoming a real estate agent. I wish you luck. I don't have much advice to give, but I'm looking forward to reading responses here.

@crimsonghost747: The reason is that I have helped my dad in his restaurant business for 5 years, and I wasn't eligible to renew my Nursing license because I didn't do the continuing education, plus the school board said I have to go back to school and reapply to the Nursing program. I think family is more important than my Nursing career and my dad really liked me to help him out. The reason I went for Real Estate was that I had the interest to go for the field, which I didn't often find something that I really liked to do. I also liked working my own hours and on my own pace, and Real Estate was a good choice for me.

@LindaKay: Are you still thinking about going to Real Estate in the near future?

Real estate sales could be a good occupation for you if you know your local area well and you're service-minded and good with people. If I'm not mistaken, it's common to work on an independent basis (i.e. on commission only or with a very small retainer that could cover car costs etc.) even if you're representing an established real estate firm. Especially if you're new to this field, it can be good to have a well-known real estate name behind you.

If you can combine continuing to help your dad with his restaurant (and get a regular part-time paycheck from that) with real estate, it might not matter so much that your real estate income will be uneven and often unpredictable. As others have said, though, it's a tough game, and you do need a thick skin and an upbeat personality to get through the ups and downs.

Yes this is huge change to become real estate agent from the nurse. If your work is pleasure with your clients, you can do some thing good in this field. But you need a lot of money to start this business.
And you can also become a agent and get commission when deal is confirmed.

There is a big different between a real estate sales agent and a business man engaging into a real estate business. A business man buys a land or property, develop and sell it.. sales agent may achieve success if he could sell properties and get commission. Real Estate guys, will get profit from re-selling the property they acquired, rinse and do the cycle again.

Being an agent first will allow you to acquire INFORMATION and TECHNIQUES surrounding the business and perhaps get capitalization until you are ripe to buy your own property and start your own real estate agency.

Good luck!!!

Real estate is actually good when you are a very good sales person. Since a few clients who would buy from you would instantly give you huge cash inflows and income. The problem is if you are not good in sales talk and there are no prospects within your region.

It can be really profitable if you know what you're doing.

Real Estate is so competitive! I know someone who markets herself as a Realtor, but she also has a tax preparation business, and I saw her working at Bath & Body Works. I'm guessing the real estate business isn't profitable enough for her to focus on it completely. She also sells Pink Zebra (Scentsy knock off) and some jewelry home party thing. It is really hard to become successful as a Realtor and even if you do, the market shifts tremendously and can break you in moments.

Real estate is a good career choice. It may be a very difficult career if the training and work ethic fail. But if you are hard working, honest, self-motivated, dedicated and helping people then it can be seriously career.

Hello.
Right now I am working on the technical and marketing project of a luxury real estate Barcelona (https://hjapon.com/en/) website. I am involved in the real estate sector and I am willing to solve any question, doubt or comment you may have about it. But I only have knowledge of web project management and marketing. The architecture or construction theme is not an option for my hahahah. Greetings.

Real estate business looks really attractive from many angles but it is not that easy. My brother work in this field for the past 10 years. Most difficult is to convince a person to take this property. Be ready to waste a lot of time while talking and showing places and not all of this work will be closed as an agreement. These articles (https://tranio.com/articles/) about real estate for sale, investments in properties and so on might be of great help to you on the first step.

Real Estate is an amazingly complicated business because maintaining your property in a decent condition is a pretty hard task and these days finding a good construction contractors also is a tough task. I am renovationg a condo now and I decided to invest money in proper waterproofing not to bother about it further and I had to spend a week to find https://aandyconstruction.com/external-waterproofing/ which turned out to be the only decent construction firm focused on waterproofing in my area.

I am in this business and the cleanliness of my project is important to me, but also diagnostics first and foremost. Before I let anyone into my apartment (whether they are tenants of my apartment or just potential buyers), I always order not a cleaning, but a diagnosis of the project I am doing. It is the diagnostics that help me not only learn about the defects in the apartment/house, but also how they can be fixed so that the buyer/tenant is happy with the place they are getting. Of course, diagnostics should only be done by professionals (qualidiag.org (https://www.qualidiag.org/) would be the best choice). That's why you should try this practice. It's very rewarding!

To start developing in a business related to real estate, you need to correctly understand how to do it and find out all the subtleties. I advise you to read fortunebuilders reviews (https://fortunebuilders.pissedconsumer.com/review.html) and go through their training, they produce decent real estate sharks.

What are you interested in Real Estate business? If you have any questions about the real estate business, first of all, I advise you to contact specialists who will help you. When I had some problems with buying a home, I immediately turned to playarealestategroup.com (https://www.playarealestategroup.com/Tulum_Real_Estate_Listings/page_2515901.html) and their specialists helped me solve all the problems. Perhaps at first, you will think that you can handle it yourself, but most often this is not the case. Therefore, in order not to waste your time, it is better to immediately contact professionals who know their work. I hope I was able to help you a little!

Well, I would recommend contacting the guys who install windows. Indeed, in this case, for each you need to select separately and according to different parameters. And asking everyone simply does not make sense. Personally, I live in England and order in GSL glass link extension (https://glassstructureslimited.com/glass-links). Just as for me they’ll help you better. Good luck to you!
