Export all of your existing working which was done on your site or a Web Design Company (http://www.mapitinc.com/basic-website-design.php) whether through black hat or white hat seo and place the keywords with random keywords relating to your site in order to save your site from getting a penalty through the latest updates.

This is for two reasons, probably. Either you have been banned from Google and will need to file a reconsideration request in Webmaster Tools, or it is a glitch in the system/algorithm update.

Maybe your site got behind so far that it is not recognized on the list anymore. Another reason might be because of the updates and tweaks that are constantly happening on Google and other Analytics sites. Have your resolved this problem now?

Or its because of you have purchased backlinks!!

Or its because of spammy contents you used in your website!!

The most common cause of a sudden drop in website traffic is a recent search algorithm update. Penalties, redirects, incorrect robots.txt rules and ranking losses are all other legitimate reasons why you may see a drop in website traffic.

There are many factors to consider before confirming the reasons such as may be your site is new and google takes time to rank new sites , because of less authority of your website, backlinks drops and may be content quality, etc.
Check technical part of your website like No index or no crawl in robot.txt , check any issues appeared in google search console that need to solve instantly.

Another really common reason for seeing website traffic decline is due to a loss in organic rankings. I use the following process to get an idea of any ranking changes: Using Google Analytics and Search Console or your preferred rank tracking tool (my preference is AccuRanker), identify when traffic started to drop.

Manual penalties are Google's way of letting you know you did something that violates their webmaster quality guidelines. It could be spammy backlinks, thin content or any number of things. The reason we say this isn't the worst thing in the world is because you at least have an idea of why your rankings dropped.

chirspaul, when I honestly think that it's all about not just SEO practices and what you can do afterwards your website is built, but also about all the steps of development. It all depends on how you will implement some inner features in your website, and what exact parameters developers will write for your project. When I was looking for how much does it cost to make a website (https://mlsdev.com/blog/how-much-does-it-cost-to-build-a-website) - it also explains how price of any project can differ based on your preferences.

Ranking drops are often caused by large changes to a website. When you've migrated a bunch of pages, rolled out a (responsive) redesign or reworked a lot of content you'll see big fluctuations in your rankings. This is natural, and should only worry you in ase your rankings don't come back to their previous state.
