A question for small business owners and hiring managers:

In your experience, have you found that posting to job boards is an effective and successful method to finding qualified candidates? If so, which job boards (or types of job boards) have worked best for you? If you do not find job boards to be helpful, what other alternative methods have you used to successfully acquire talent for your small business?

Thank you

As simple as it sounds I have found success in finding people through Craigslist. Of course, it depends what type of business you have and the kind of talent you need, but you should consider Craigslist.

The latest research offers found that will while job boards can always be a decent solution to find job hopefuls, they are usually in competition with more unique strategies to finding actually qualified natural talent.Job boards continue to be valuable assets inside the recruiter’s toolbox in spite of the threat of getting eclipsed by social networking and online referral/networking sites.
