Hello!
My wife and myself are starting our business plan for a men's retail clothing shop but haven't figured out how to get the brands we want to commit to our shop which hasn't opened yet. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Master the margins. ...
Visit the store in person to make your pitch. ...
Bring samples of actual products, or at the very least, photographs. ...
Grasp the retailer's competitive advantages in the marketplace. ...
Have a sell sheet. ...
Prioritize your packaging. ...
Show your marketing might.

Never Say Die.

Be Proven. Your line needs to have a past filled with selling great.

Have a line sheet or lookbook.

Get your work done.

Go to Trade Shows like Magic or Pool.

Bring tests.

Be diligent and catch up.

Sell at Local Boutiques and Consignment Shops.

Sell at National Chains and Department Stores.

Develop a retail pitch plan.
Get straight to the point.
Know their needs.
Brand yourself.
Sell at independents.
Reach out to the gatekeepers.
Slow and steady wins the race.
