I was wandering what the best way to market an idea is without someone taking it! If you could give me any help I would greatly appreciate it!

THANKS,

As you earlier also have got suggestions, it's better to add a few more details regarding your question. Rest, you can share your idea over social media profiles, or post the idea in the form of blogs on the popular blogging sites.

Develop a product people want and will spend money on.
Protect your idea with a provisional patent application.
Create a few strong marketing materials.
Contact the right companies.
Don't become too financially or emotionally attached to your idea.
Be reasonable.

The best way is to store your idea in a journal and secure it in a bank or use word doc to secure it within a hard drive that is password protected

Thank you for the great thread here. I have been looking for some info on marketing methods... I like the idea of offline marketing still though. I guess it is pretty good these days too. What are your thoughts on it, guys? I like those promo items from PinSource (https://www.pinsource.com/), for example. I would like to get any input on it

Yes, you can sell an idea to a company without a patent. However, the company needs to enter into a contract such as a nondisclosure agreement (NDA). Otherwise, they can steal your idea. Unfortunately, many companies will not enter into an NDA
