I am filling out a business form that asks if I am bondable? How should that be answered with a yes/no question. Never had a need to be bonded. My company does operations and maintenance, base operating support.

Of course, I think I am bondable...
thx in advance

What does bondable mean? If someone were to check if you were bondable, what would they check for?

A breif search of the internet gave me this:

An insurance contract in which an agency guarantees payment to an employer in the event of unforeseen financial loss through the actions of an employee.

I guess that means it's a liability issue, that the employer would not be liable for anything that you would do, but the insurance company of the employer would be. I assume they would check with an insurance company.
