View Full Version : Is this a reasonable business model for an online store

Would it be ok to take orders on a website, then order from the wholesaler once the orders are made. Once the shipment arrives at my distribution center (home!) I ship the items to the customer.

I imagine this would make for higher shipping times but other than that.. are there any problems with this?

Thank you in advance for the advice.

A drop shipper would use your biz name, info and logo on shipping labels plus do the shipping for you. Not sure why you want to use a wholesaler unless you can pick up items immediately vs waiting for them to 'ship' to you.

The business plan seems to be solid. It's actually a good thing judging by the way it look. - Phillip Elden (https://www.phillipeldenprofile.com/)
