About wandering wildman

Biography:

was crunched out of my mother’s wound at birth only through the miracle of C-sections. My head was entirely too large for my 7.8 ounce body.

It didn’t take long after that for me to be considered as a special child. So much so that It was actually a tough decision for my parents when I started Kindergarden to put me in a special needs class or not.

Apparently, talking wasn’t my thing. But, after speech therapy, I slowly came around.

It didn’t take long when I got to second grade before I started getting myself in awkward predicaments. I can still remember to this day standing outside Holy Family with a bag of the nun’s underwear for the second day in a row after I had shit my pants.



With unlimited passion for the quirky and unusual, it is no wonder that being tied to a desk in “Corporate America,” was slowly sucking my soul up drop by drop.

In the midst of 7 disgustingly hot days of the Phoenix, AZ summer, I reached my breaking point of living a life without passion. So, I marched over to my boss’ desk and demanded a one week vacation to gather my thoughts of what I really want out of life.

I hopped in my car that night and just started driving with nothing but a James Taylor CD, and a random bluegrass CD that scratches every third song. I spent hours and hours writing about what I want out of life. I

From a rock on the riverside of Telluride, CO, I finally came to the conclusion to move to Taiwan in November of that year. Without knowing one word in Chinese before I came, it has been a sometimes heart-breaking, sometimes funny, and most importantly insightful adventure every step of the way.
