Since outsourcing is a good idea but the risk associated with this can be like losing sensitive data. So, it is very important to have a check on the same and one more thing that you can do is to get more information about working experience of your outsourcing partner.

For instance, if you are looking for a specailised service like PLM, better outsource it to market leaders like Piterion who know their business rather than spedning money and resources on it yourself.

I think it depends on your company size. If you are start-up, you have many things to concern and out-source is the best way for you. Because you don't have enough time and money to train and pay your employees. In the long term, when you get more and more contracts and capital, you can recruit and train with the standard process like some big company.

I 100% agree with you. Modern world is the world of high technologies and IT, so why not just taking advantage of this? My company practices offshore outsourcing and there are only pros of such a type of co-working: optimizing of resources (time, money), ready-made professionals, no need to hire someone, teach him, pay for additional office rent, etc.
