I've never paid for any marketing to be done for me. I guess I don't let my money out until I'm sure that it can guarantee a big percentage of awareness for my site. I have this problem of not letting out money right away, then eventually I find out that I just lost an opportunity that I can't get back.

So it's great to always earn money online for a few extra bucks in order to pay off to marketing specialists. I don't know if the effect is big, but if it is, then good for you.

I agree on this score. To rely solely on the good graces of Google ranking your webpages these days is not a wise philosophy. There's too much that can go wrong.

That's great! Having a website that rank page 1 for multiple keywords is just really awesome, unless of course if your niche is not a profitable one.

I just wonder why you sold it? You could have monetize the traffic in many ways (adsense, cpa, ppd, ppi), but well that is none of my business, is it?

I haven't tried cashcrate and instaGC yet. About your question, I bought tools for my marketing campaigns but I don't pay anyone to do the work, I just buy tools and do the campaigns myself. If you value your niches and your website, it is very hard to trust someone who will do the work for you, especially if you are into ranking your keywords on Google.

Before you pay for someone to advertise your blog, make sure that your blog is good enough to be advertised. Marketing expenses would be nothing if your website isn't nice or it doesn't contain good content.

Let's say you have good advertisers. They show the public your website, however, the advertisement is better than the website itself. That causes the advertisement to be a waste.

I haven't had any luck with blogs and content providing. There were little users and I almost made no profit.

I agree. Building a site is great as a business because you don't need to put in as much capital as most startups and you can end up having a significantly priced product by the end when or if you decide to sell it. The only downside is that you'd have to spend a lot of time on it, and if you're alone on the project, you'd be tasked with all other requirements like designing and social media management. It's totally worth it, though, especially if you have a good niche topic.

I work for the largest SEO company in England, handling some huge clients. SEO is massive, what they pay is massive. Its a lot more than backlinks. It really is all about the organic search results.

There's no doubt that organic results are the best! The traffic is extremely targeted and free . If you are getting organic traffic from Google, you need to make sure you aren't doing anything too "Black Hat" or else you will lose your rankings pretty easily.

I've never paid for SEO work, because I've taught myself how to do SEO, and I've also learned from a few friends, and forums. Organic results are definitely important, but it takes time for you to get good results, and you need to be very dedicated to be successful at SEO.

This is 100% fact. It is all about the product. The best advertisers in the world will not help you one bit if your Website sucks.
