Seriously. With the number of patients currently addicted to prescription opiates, plus the number addicted to street opiates, you are guaranteed a long-term steady income. It may be evil, but so is the healthcare industry.

This is very very true. I have to say this kind of thing would be my last resort, I would feel kind of very bad for doing it. Also I am not from the US and here we dont have clinics like those but I know how they function in the US

I would say that the best places to advertise healthcare are in your local stores. A lot of stores have billboards and things that you can post to for free. It may not be the best but it works. If you have a bigger budget a full sized billboard could be a decent investment. People have to drive back and forth through towns every day so that would be very good advertising.

These are things I will definitively do. Posters are old school but always work!

Corporations. You know how some companies offer their employees the benefits of seeking medical help free of charge? The companies pay for all the medical expenses of their employees. Try to know the businesses around your area, and introduced them to your services.

Yes, I agree that the advertising should be really non-aggressive because with something like healthcare, if you push it onto people they might think it is a scam or not really worthy because you have to advertise it so much. The best would be word of mouth because there's nothing better than a 'friend' recommending another friend a great physician or clinic. We tend to trust our friends and family more than what the media usually advertises in cases like these.

You could also go to business conferences. If you want to target other companies, just go to one of those conferences and your sure to make sales. I know people that work on a commission for this kind of sales and they all go to conferences to get their sales.

However I am unsure of what the implications of these can be at your place.

Social Media, Newspapers are a great way to start off. If allowed at your place, you can also put out posters, leaflets at the Chemists shops at your place/locality.

Having a website too can come handy if you want to provide services to overseas patients - as I have known some people who provide consultation for anyone on the Internet for a fee (Dr. Ray Strand is one example who has his own website)
I really like the idea of advertising in a newspaper. The newspaper is something that a lot of people check out daily.

When deciding on the media for advertising, the most important issue to address is that whether the said medium is able to deliver the information to the required audience. So while deciding the media for advertising healthcare products, I would recommend that they should be advertised in places like gyms and spas which people visit for the well-being of their body. Also there is the option of advertising on television and newspapers for reaching a wider audience. These products can also be advertised on healthcare related websites.

You can use online business directories to get found and the above is a good suggestion. The information the PPO provides about the doctor is very basic, when a person is looking at the about me page of the doctor if they do not get enough information to help them choice between one doctor or the other they will move on. You want to give as much information about the background, services and what others are saying about you in your about me page. Make your own.

There are courses out that teach you how to get more of your share of the market online. One person that teaches this type of marketing is Jack Mize, I was one of his students and learned alot.
