    Employees moonlighting for competition
    A couple months ago the manager of my company quit to start his own directly competing company. I have recently discovered that some of my employees are moonlighting for him. Some of them are even taking paid vacation days to do so. This is in the construction industry and most of them are labour men or technicians so I don't think I could enforce a non-compete clause. What can I do?

    If this is the case, you have the right to fire this person. Whether you have confidentiality clause or not, they are still liable to the law. - Phillip Elden

    I think you should talk with them instead of fire them as most of the labors are poor and they would like to work hard even after 9-5 job. If they don,t disturb you in any matter you should cooperate with them.
