I am planning on going to grad school specifically to expand the scope of my current consulting business. Can I write off all related expenses? Tuition, cost of living at the University etc?
Thanks!

If your employer reimburses you for the tuition fees, you would not be able to claim the Tuition, Education, Textbook credits (T2202a) for personal tax return.
The tuition that was reimbursed would be reported as a employment income and it would appear on your T4 slip.

No loans are a tax write-off, for anyone. Only interest paid on loans are ever allowed to be deducted. Consider yourself lucky that you only are paying about $1K a month, since many doctors have to pay 2 to 3 times that each month. Veterinarians often end up with $300K-$500K in student loans.
