New LLC or just a DBA?
Our company type is registered as retail. However, we are looking at expanding into a cleaning service. Do we need to form a new LLC, because the new company's purpose is so different, or can we just use a DBA for the existing LLC?

The greatest contrast between a DBA and a LLC is risk security. Under a DBA, there is no differentiation between the entrepreneur and the business. The entrepreneur is obligated for all costs brought about for the business. Then again, a LLC gives restricted risk security.
