    The only thing not on the internet is billboards, if you look at your statement and where we're going, due to technology. You are correct in stating that there is a distinction, and I assume you are referring to digital billboards, as the good old' stick an ad on' billboards are still in use and accurate. It is successful in the sense that it continues to generate leads for those who invest time and money in it. Effective in the sense that it continues to generate leads for those who commute. Otherwise, we all watch TV through streaming services such as Netflix and Hulu. You can get your SMS online or on your laptop, whichever is more convenient for you. When you're surfing, you get these irritating pop-up advertisements. I understand that there is a distinction, as you said, but when people refer to digital marketing, they are referring to the same thing. I understand that there is a distinction, as you pointed out, but when people talk about digital marketing, they are referring to internet marketing. If you look at the word in its true sense, I have to agree with you.

Digital marketing doesn't require Internet strategies to fall under this category, while Internet marketing requires using the Internet to market to your audience.
