Freight Forwarder documentation requirements - UK
    Hi all,

Please can someone help me? I am currently providing cargo handling services from UK to West Africa via Air, Sea & Road (Importing) and I will like to start providing the same service from West Africa into the UK (Exporting).

My question is? what documentation or what organisation do I need to contact in the UK so Iíll be able to clear (freight forwarder agent) goods into the UK on behalf of my customers?

IF you get a contract with a forwarder like DHL or UPS, they will get in charge of the shipment and clearence, they would ask you all the required info and documents of course.

The documentation requirements are going to be tedious. You don't have to worry if you have complied with all of them. - Phillip Elden
