Hi guys! I just joined in here. I have a question that needs to be answered. But I did not know where to post it . I do a pretty good deal of welding that was taught to me by an uncle of mine. Now he wants me to go for pipe welding course in Weldtech Training Centre in Toronto. He thinks I will make it big in the welding industry. I need to know good colleges or institutes in Toronto that will help me go about with the course. As of now I’m thinking of joining Weldtech. I heard their certification courses are desirable and accepted by most contractors. But what are the prerequisites? Please help me with your suggestions and thoughts.

I would recommend you research colleges that offer this type of program and they will list what's needed, whether a 'Red Seal' or not type of certification (allows inter-provincial employment), basic education requirements, work practicals, hours, etc., and miscellaneous info about their program in general.
