    Spam without spamming
    Hi all,

When you take a quick look at some of the forums or FB groups, you can quickly see the site is being flooded with spammers, who call themselves marketers. But there is a difference between spamming and marketing.

    It's called: Getting sales.

While spammers hope for a quick buck, marketers know that the trust is far more important. So, if you don't wanna get banned by most forums out there, don't just start a useless topic like "Where to buy cheap viaghra" and self-answer it. People aren't that stupid. Instead, offer valuable tips and over time, people would buy your stuff, based solely on trust.

So, whatever your way of doing marketing is, do it right. Or don't do it at all.

Ok, now it's your turn. What do you think about it and how do you promote your stuff online? Pls share!

I totally agree with you. Aimlessly sharing links and blasting the web with advertising will do nothing for your brand, forum and social media marketing is about engaging with your community, sharing useful content and thus bettering the image of your brand over time.

People who do that kind of stuff don't intend to stick around any length of time anyway. You're just preaching to choir right now. We all know this and the spammers are long gone and off to the next forum. Alls you can do is just report it and move on.
