    Need advice on a web presence for a small business
    This is my first post on this forum and I am seeking a little advice or assistance.

    I need a way for customers to make orders for the items we distribute, pay for the orders, and register their delivery location. I need for the web presence to have an output to an accounting platform (Quickbooks, etc) and I will need it to have the ability to print customer orders to be attached to the items for scheduling and identification.

    The platform will need to accept orders from cell phone and from desktop/Apple computers.

    I know there are plenty of platforms out there but trying to sift through them is a little withering.

    I am not certain it has to be a web page. It might be an app on my desktop which performs these functions but is not necessarily searchable on the internet. This is asmall business which will not likely do more than about $50k in the first year.

    Any response would be much appreciated.

    Its really good to have internet presence. I am a web developer and I know the requirements you have for your website is not a big one. I advice you to go with any open source project initially, once your income is started you can build a more professional website. If you need any assistance I am ready to help Cheers!

    More and more people expect to be able to interact with a company through its website. Your contact and customer service information, such as shipping and return policies, should be easy to find and understand.

    You can also use your website to collect customers’ names and, with their permission, send periodic emails, eletters, or mail to promote your company. If you do collect customer data, be sure your website has a privacy policy and legal disclaimer. You might need to consult with an Internet or privacy lawyer to cover all regulatory aspects of your online business.
